Specifically designed for HUMMER H1 and HMMWV’s
Comprised of 4 high performance high output electric fans. Throughout testing, these are more effective than a Geared Fan Drive. Sabar fans were able to increase fuel efficiency by 7 percent through parasitic load reduction and maintain a clean radiator. Data from testing also showed the electric fan system drew less than 2.5 horsepower from the engine while the mechanical fan drew up to 9.5 horsepower.

This kit takes advantage of the combined 11,100 cfm dual stage fans and shroud by locating the fans directly behind the radiator/cooling stack and direct the hot air to exit under the vehicle were there is low pressure at over 30 mph encouraging more air flow through the cooling system.

This system is controlled by a temperature thermal switch that turn the fans on and off as needed to maintain temperature while decreasing parasitic horsepower loss and lower heat production due to reduced load on the engine. And, because the electric fan system is not reliant on an engine drive there is faster warm up, maximum cooling, and colder AC temperatures are achieved during low vehicle or engine speeds. Temperatures recovered substantially and extremely quick over the mechanical fan after hard pulls and high rpm.

Looking at the results we see that swapping fans yielded a gain of 8 - 12 horsepower and 8 - 15 foot pounds of torque. This may not seem like a huge deal but when you consider H1/HMMWV vehicles start with (NA) 150hp/290lb-ft and (Turbo) 190hp/400lb-ft, it is a clear and noticeable difference when you hit the throttle. We also noticed the engine runs way smoother and consistent all the way through the rpm range.
